Apptics connects to your store through a Shopify custom app that you create once. You’ll need admin access to your Shopify store. The whole setup takes about 5 minutes, and the interactive setup guide mirrors Shopify’s form field-by-field with copy buttons for every value.

Create the app in Shopify

  1. In the Shopify dev dashboard, create a new app (name it Apptics-crm) and start a new version.
  2. Set the App URL to https://app.apptics.com and leave “Embed app in Shopify admin” checked.
  3. Under API access, paste the scopes:
and add the redirect URL https://api.apptics.com/api/auth/shopify/callback.
  4. Under App proxy, set subpath prefix apps, subpath apptics, and proxy URL https://api.apptics.com/apps/apptics.
  5. Release the version, then install the app on your store.

Connect it to Apptics

Copy the app’s Client ID and Client Secret from its settings. In Apptics, open Connect store and paste both, along with your store’s canonical your-store.myshopify.com domain.
Wherever a store URL is asked for, always use the canonical your-store.myshopify.com domain — not a custom storefront domain.

What happens next

Once connected, your products, customers, and orders sync automatically — your catalog imports in the background and appears in the dashboard. From there, follow the go-live checklist.
