By default your checkout runs on an Apptics URL. Connecting your own subdomain keeps shoppers on your brand for the entire purchase.

Before you start

  • You need access to your domain’s DNS settings (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, etc.).
  • Pick a subdomain you don’t already use — checkout.yourstore.com is typical.

Connect your domain

  1. In the dashboard, go to Settings and open the Custom Checkout Domain card.
  2. Enter your subdomain and add it.
  3. A DNS record appears with three values — Type, Name, and Points to. Copy each one into a new record at your DNS provider.
Apptics checks your DNS automatically — once the record is live, the domain activates on its own, usually within a few minutes. There’s no verify button to come back and press.
If the card says custom domains aren’t available on your store yet, contact support to have them enabled.

After it’s active

  • Checkout is served from your domain. Older Apptics-hosted links keep working and redirect to the branded URL.
  • Your SSL certificate is issued and renewed for you.
  • Removing the domain moves checkout back to your default hosted domain at any time.

Troubleshooting

Still pending after an hour? DNS changes can take time to propagate. Confirm the record at your DNS provider matches the Name and Points to values exactly as shown in the dashboard.
