# Managing orders

> Every order from your checkout — items, payments, refunds, and Shopify sync

The **Orders** page lists every order placed through your checkout. Search
and filter by date, customer, status, and order type — one-time or
subscription.

## Inside an order

Opening an order shows the full picture:

* **Items** — the products and quantities purchased.
* **Addresses and shipping** — what the shopper entered at checkout.
* **Payment activity** — every charge and refund on the order, including
  the payment method used.
* **Refunds** — what's been returned, if anything.

## Refunds

Issue a **full or partial refund** from the order's customer. Refunds show
up immediately in payment activity, and the customer receives a refund
confirmation email automatically

## Shopify stays in sync

Orders flow into Shopify so fulfillment works exactly as it always has. If
an order hasn't reached Shopify for any reason, it's flagged on the order
view so nothing slips through silently.
