# Customer profiles

> Who your customers are, what they're worth, and the actions you can take

The **Customers** page shows everyone who has bought from you, with
top-line numbers — active paying customers, new customers in the last 7
days, and all-time revenue.

## A customer's profile

Each profile brings together everything about that customer:

* **Customer details** and **lifetime value**
* Their **orders** and **subscriptions**
* Their **payment activity**, including refunds

Totals stay accurate even when the same shopper appears across multiple
orders.

## Actions you can take from a profile

* **Issue Refund** — full or partial, with a reason (duplicate charge,
fraudulent, customer request) and an optional internal note for your
  records.
* **Manual Charge** — charge the customer's saved payment method for an
agreed amount, for phone orders or adjustments.
* **Customer Portal Link** — copy their secure portal link to send them,
so they can manage their subscription themselves
  (see [The customer portal](/subscriptions/customer-portal)).

## When an email address stops working

If a customer's address can't receive mail — it hard-bounces, or they
mark your email as spam — Apptics pauses all emails to that address
automatically and shows an **Email undeliverable** or **Marked as spam**
badge on the customer, both in the list and on their profile.

Once you've confirmed a working address with the customer, click
**Mark deliverable** on their profile to resume emails. If the address
bounces again, it pauses again on its own.
