# Control checkout traffic

> Choose how much of your storefront traffic uses Apptics checkout

You decide how checkout clicks on your storefront are handled: send them to
your Apptics checkout, keep them on Shopify's checkout, or split traffic
between the two.

## Choosing a split

In **Settings**, set the share of storefront checkout clicks that should go
to Apptics checkout. Use it to roll out gradually — start with a small
percentage, compare results, and increase when you're confident. Your
dashboard shows the split's performance over time, including orders on each
side.

## Pausing instantly

You can switch all traffic back to Shopify checkout at any time with one
setting — useful as an instant fallback. Shoppers mid-checkout are never
stranded; new clicks simply route to Shopify.
